Bangkok - Heading Home
Our last day in Luang Prabang was relatively uneventful and we spent most of it lounging around the hotel watching the river traffic. We’re starting to feel a little traveled out and our arrival in Bangkok was just sorta ho-hum…let’s just go home. We did a little souvenir shopping and not much else. Today we’re off to Istanbul our final leg home. All in all we had a very nice time and we’re glad we went… while no one thing we did was extraordinary the very fact that we were where we where and were able to experience the “difference” of being there made the trip worthwhile to us. It was also a little bittersweet to think that this will probably be the last time we’ll visit this part of the world just because of the difficulty of traveling this far. Glad we did it though.
